CDQ is known for making controversial statements. His most recent controversy, came in the form of a trade of words with Ifu Enada, one of the BBNaija participants. Now, the rapper has switched his focus to Yemi Alade.
We all know Yemi Alade is a singer who specializes in making Afro-pop music and her repertoire is made heavy by the weight of hit songs like Johnny and Nagode but CDQ mentioned her name in response to a fan who was wailing about the dearth of female rappers in the country.
With CDQ’s knowledge of rap music, it is hard to believe that he made a mistake by referring to Yemi Alade as a rapper instead of a singer. It is either he was being sarcastic or he just directed a shade at her. It looks even more like the latter considering that Yemi Alade is often criticized for her lyrics and her style of delivery.
Do you think CDQ just shaded Yemi Alade? Share your thoughts in the comment section.
